Gentle Effort Club is back! This time we’re doing summer sessions. I’m announcing now so you can get on the list ASAP. Instead of five sessions there will be four Monday sessions—starting at 10a ET. Way better hours than last time. I plan on spending my two hours writing or reading each week before dinner.
The vibe is the same as before: work on whatever you want. Maybe you want to write. Maybe you want to read. Maybe you want to craft and you’re looking for two hours to claim for yourself.
Cameras if you want, and absolutely no pressure—just the quiet companionship of others committed to some dedicated time each Monday. Our intention is to help you cultivate presence, reduce distractions, and tap into the power of collective focus. You can join as often as you want for as long as you’d like. This is about habit building and not about restriction. Come and go as you please.
How it works:
Join our virtual room with cameras and mics off (we will open with a song that gives us a few minutes to arrive and settle in) (roughly 5 mins)
Brief check-in to set intentions if you would like (roughly 5 mins)
90-100 minutes of quiet, focused work time (we can split it into two 45 minute sprints if you choose, with a 10 minute break to stretch, use the restroom, switch what you’re working on, etc.)
Optional brief closing reflection (5 mins)
