The astrology girlies’ new year, aka winter solstice (12/21), has been a heavy hitter of a day to people around the world for eons. From here on out the days get a bit longer, the sun creeps its way back out slowly and boldly.

Solstice intentions have been around since before the Gregorian calendar… I’m talking Stone Age. Looking at (side eyeing) you, New Year’s resolutions. But whichever you want to partake in, it’s a time of the year to plant a seed. An idea you want to grow, a mentality you want to embrace, a trait you want to embody. A time to think about concrete goals to get to.

The vibe is you + your intention grow and achieve more, little by little, each day. Just like the sun makes the days a teeny bit longer each day until the summer solstice! Come summertime we’re harvesting what we have grown for the year. Basking in our fullness and achievement.

Capricorn season brings this energy with it. I don’t tolerate Capricorn slander. Evolved Capricorn energy knows what it wants and slowly moves towards its goals unyieldingly. I respect that. It’s not afraid to lead or commit.
